Pasapali is a chequered design which comes from a game of gambles called Pasa (ପଶା). Its akin to Lodo which is played by throwing dices on a piece of chequered pattern cloth. The game is infamous in Mahabharat in which the Pandavas has lost Draupadi to Kauravas and Lord Krishna saved her from getting derobed. Saura Art is a pattern of skeletal art done by the Saura Tribes of South-Western Odisha. These are murals and paintings on the mud walls of their houses depicting various social and economic activities of their tribe like marriages, harvesting etc. Its different from Worli Art in many ways though both look similar.
